Cinematic storytelling from the ground and sky — powered by over a decade of experience.

I’m Peter Leix, cinematographer, photographer, and creative lead at Thunderbird Creative.
For more than 10 years, I’ve been capturing stories from unique perspectives — whether through a large-sensor cinema camera on the ground or a high-end drone in the sky.

Based in Southeast Michigan, I work with clients across the country to create fully edited, color-graded, and polished video content that’s ready to inspire, engage, and convert.

  I was an early adopter of camera drones and hold an FAA Part 107 license. My aerial work has appeared in feature films, documentaries, tourism campaigns, explainer videos, and real estate productions.

As a real estate agent, you know it’s important to use dynamic visual images to attract potential homeowners.   You want to show more than just the colors of paint or the material of the kitchen counters.  You want to show the feeling of being there, and you want to do it in a memorable way. I'm a FAA Licensed remote pilot, I have been flying drones for over 10 years and have hundreds of hours logged flying drones safely. I am bound the FAA's regulations regarding flying drones commercially, if you listing is in a controlled airspace t I will need to apply for a waiver to fly in that airspace.
